These flare tips are engineered for high destruction efficiency, environmental compliance, and operational reliability, with features like smokeless and non-smokeless operation, low noise, and minimal energy consumption.

Supported by advanced testing facilities, including a 48 MW rated furnace for enclosed flare testing, Greens Combustion and AFG Combustion provide cost-effective, sustainable solutions with exceptional turndown capabilities and comprehensive aftermarket support for both their own and third-party systems.

UPPER STEAM (US) FLARE TIP

The Upper Steam (US) flare system employs a low-noise steam injection ring to achieve smokeless combustion. Positioned at the flare tip's top, the upper steam distribution manifold channels steam through stainless steel nozzles. These nozzles inject high-velocity steam into the waste as, generating turbulence that draws combustion air into the gas stream at the tip exit. This increased oxygen supply enables smokeless burning of the waste gas, enhancing smokeless capacity and operational efficiency.

INNER STEAM (IS) FLARE TIP

The Inner Steam (IS) flare tips surpass the standard Upper Steam (US) flare tip with advanced technology for superior smokeless combustion. The IS series features a lower steam distribution manifold near the flare tip's base, directing steam into a steam/air mixing venturi. This mixture is channeled through sophisticated, proprietary flare tip internals, blending with waste gas at the tip exit. These internals optimise air entrainment, injecting the steam/air mix directly into the waste gas core for efficient combustion and exceptional smokeless performance.

We offer two Inner Steam variants, with the IS3 being the most advanced. The IS3 employs stainless steel nozzles with a converging/diverging cross-section, accelerating steam to supersonic speeds. This design maximises air entrainment, boosting steam efficiency and smokeless performance to industry-leading levels.
